ORGANIC WASTE
Organic waste is processed at public compost locations set up within town limits, as well as at smaller individual composters placed near the residences that have vegetable patches and gardens. KEEPING RIVERS AND NATURAL AREAS CLEAN
The town council of Anoeta removes rubbish from rivers and natural areas within the limits of the municipality on a monthly basis, with the clean-up activities lasting one week. In one year, eight tonnes of rubbish were collected.
